Where God Sends Rain

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

It is the 24th again – that means it is #h2o4all day! With your help we will draw attention to water issues around the world. Here are some ways you can participate:

  • Do some research about water issues in your area.
  • Blog about it.
  • Tweet your blog post or any interesting links using the hashtag #h2o4all

All the links will be collected off the twitter stream and listed here for reference.

For the month of July we invite you to reflect on the scripture verse above. Jesus commands us to love universally using the example of how God sends the rain. Equal access to clean water is unfortunately not a reality. One minimal requirement of true neighbor love is to help ensure that everyone receives clean water – righteous and unrighteous alike.

Spread the word. Help us make a splash!
